Bettendorf High School’s baseball program is hosting their annual spring pitching camp to help prepare Bettendorf Community School District students for a new season.

The two-session camp is Tuesday, April 9 & Thursday, April 11 at the Bettendorf Middle School gyms.

The camp runs both days from 5:30-7 p.m. for 3rd-5th graders and 7-8:30 p.m. for 6th-8th graders.

Among the skills to be taught: Pitching mechanics, throwing progression, windup & stretch positions, pickoff moves to 1st & 2nd base, different types of fastball grips, arm care and stretching.

Instruction from the BHS coaching staff and current BHS players.

The cost of the camp is $50.
